Reviews for Senco RoofPro455XP Roofing Coil Nailer, Contact Actuation (Tools & Home Improvement) What I liked about it:
1. Weight really feels good, and gun handles comfortably.
2. Unusually sturdy paint and wear plates.
3. Case included with allen wrenches, oil and connector.
4. Price. I managed to get this gun on sale at amazon for roughly $182.
What I did not like:
1. Made in Taiwan! I would never have sold it had I recognized this ahead of time. All my other Sencos had been made in USA.
2. Depth of power adjustment would not work very neatly.
3. Bends nail heads slightly regularly (about once each 10-15 nails).
4. Double and triple fires every now and then about once each 30 nails.
My conclusion:
I'm no longer a pro, but when I was once I would surely stear away from this gun. I don't have any phantasms that it's higher made than a Hitachi, Max or Bostich. However, it used to be considerably more price-effective at the time I bought it. It did it is job OK, however boy would I hate life if I was once a roofing contractor and had to depend on this thing's performance. It's OK in the experience you simply use it for the occassional challenge.

I was once in a position to move as a minimum thrice sooner than hand-nailing. The simplest downside I had used to be when the gun jammed. I'm lovely certain this occured when the roofing nail hit the prime of a nail maintaining down the roof sheathing. I had to put off the jammed nail with pliers. I even dropped the gun as quickly as onto the pressureway and it nonetheless labored completely.

I really have grown up with the attitude that Senco's are one of the best. I wanted a new gun so I ordered this one. As I started out the use of it I was as quickly as impressed with its excellent stability and ease of use. However after about three roof jobs it started to leak air internally. I'm now not an excessively affected person man so I was once rather mad, I did get the gun mounted. While i did that I picked up the Hitachi NV45AB2S pro-grade that is one heck of a high quality gun and my Senco sit downs within the shed for any of the helpers to use as a backup gun.
